image    AIA Los Angeles Committee on the Environment will sponsor ALT Building and Design Approaches with a series of workshops, presentations, and vendors discussing the pros and cons of the more conventional alternatives to current design explorations.

image   An extensive educational tract of presentations focused on both technical and marketing strategies that have been implemented by home builders & residential developers who have created successful and profitable projects in this economy as a result of integrating green and sustainable building features into their new developments.



 

Landscape Architect Programming


image Designing sustainable landscapes will be demystified by a programming that will include expert panels of landscape designers, architects, and horticulturists who will share their knowledge of local resources and features such as plant selections, recycled water, and new irrigation technologies.  

Residents and professionals will have the opportunity to learn how to capture rainwater and use it in the landscape during a full-day workshop with leading experts from across the country.
